So who are The Real World Wheelers? Basically, we are just a bunch of regular people who enjoy wheeling, having a good time, and having fun building, modifying, and breaking our junk! We are no different then anyone else. We don't have sponsors who pay the big bucks to have their name put on the sides of our rigs. We generally don't even have competition rigs! We build our trucks out of what we have available, or often wheel in stock vehicles.

   Not everyone can afford to go play every weekend, or even every month for that matter. We all have things in our lives that are more important, like family, homes, and jobs. Here, we definitely understand that, because we are the same way! 

   Members here enjoy dragging their trucks through the trails, sand, rocks, mud, or even just watching others have fun doing that! Often, different members will post pictures of whatever events they have gone to recently, so this is a good spot to see some pics of those events you weren't able to make it to.

Some of our members are professional mechanics, welders, and fabricators. Most of our members are generally knowledgeable about 4 wheeling, trucks, and modifications, so this is also a good place to get some useful info, ideas, or constructive criticism about your own project.

   Most of our members are in the mid-Michigan area, but everyone, from all areas and walks of life, are encouraged to join in. Here, we don't exclude anyone, at least not until they prove that they cant get along with others. Thats pretty rare, though.

   Basically, this site is for everyone. It was started by a group of friends who didn't like the way most other sites are run. Here, everyones opinion matters. See some changes to the site that you think should be implemented? Then send your ideas to one of the admins or mods, or even just post it in a new thread, and it will be discussed, and considered, even if it doesn't happen. There isn't a single leader on this site. Know of an event, trail ride, mud bog, trail cleanup, or anything else that you would like to get more people to attend? Post it here in our EVENTS section. This is a diverse group, and there is bound to be some people that will be interested.

   Don't like the sites where its basically a select few people who dominate the site, and others are ridiculed or flamed for making basically any type of a statement? Well, you wont get that here. Everyone is born equal in the The Real World.

   Ford, Jeep, Chevy, Dodge, Toyota, Nissan, whatever vehicle make or model you like and/or wheel, your welcome here. Mud boggers, trail riders, rock crawlers, dune runners, all are welcomed in The Real World.

   Want to bash a certain make or model, or other members just for the fun of it? Well, maybe you better move on. But, if you do have a legitimate complaint, then come on in. We even have a section for disputes and complaints, and as long as you have a valid reason, you may just change some other peoples opinions. 

   This site is also for those who want to protect the environment and the lands that we use for recreational purposes. This is a sport that is widely misunderstood, and generally given a bad name by those that drive through running waterways, tear down trees, and generally destroy lands and habitats. If you are one that does these things, we would like to invite you in so that we can show you why these things only cause lands to be closed off from all of us, and may someday make four wheeling an "illegal" hobby. If, on the other hand, you also believe in protecting lands and waterways, and support the T.R.E.A.D. Lightly! rules, then please register here, and together maybe we can make some changes, and someday other people may understand that not everyone with a four wheel drive vehicle is just trying to destroy lands!! 

   Basically, this is a place you can hang out, talk about wheeling, wrenching, trucks, having fun, and hopefully do some good in the process!
